Town Board Meeting held January 17, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.      at the Town Hall, Schroon Lake, New York

Present:            Supervisor: Catherine L. Moses

Councilmen:            Roger Friedman, Donald Sage, Sharron Tyrrell, Clara Phibbs

Hwy. Super.:            Michael Marnell

Town Clerk:            Janice Tyrrell

Also Present:            List Attached

     Meeting was called to order at 3:05 PM, Tish from Burnham Associates was present to discuss health insurance.

     Clara moved a resolution to go with two benefit plans, second by Sharron ( Clara stated we should stay where we are if possible) EPO & PPO.- Don Na Roger opposed

Clara made motion to adjourn meeting at 3:45 Pm, second by Sharron ; carried.

3:45 PM meeting was held with Clough Harbour on proposed water project.

      After discussion Roger moved a resolution to bid out the updates for the water project, second by Don; carried.

     Don moved a resolution to adjourn meeting at 4:25 Pm, second by Clara; carried.

      4:30 PM Michael Marnell would like permission to move part time employee from Laborer to MEO filling Greg Shaugnessey’s position at the highway.

     Clara feels we need to run the situation by AMTEC.

     Roger moved to approve the move with the contingent the Supervisor receives, second by Don; carried. - Clara abstained for lack of information.

     Cathy stated that we are getting a new phone system for the Town Hall, going with Avia Co.

     Roger moved resolution to approve changes for Local Law #1 and #2 for the planning board, second by Don; carried.

     Clara moved a resolution to go into executive session at 4:50 Pm to discus employee issue, second by Don ; carried.

Clara moved to come out of executive session at 5PM, second by Don carried.

Don moved a resolution to adjourn meeting at 5:05 PM, second by Roger carried.
